It uses a dual lens design that can be changed with the T and W switch. The wide lens is a 38mm f/3.5 4 element in 3 group while the tele lens is a 65mm f/5.6 8 element in 6 group. It uses a stepless infrared autofocus system which locks focus with a half press of the shutter release. In W mode it is able to focus from 0.4m while in T mode at 1.3m. When the subject is too close, the camera emits a warning noise. The lens is protected with a lens cover that automatically uncovers when powered on.
