Asahi Pentax 6x7 - 200mm f/4 Lens - Comes with metered Prism and extra 75mm 4.5 Lens!

Year Released: 1969
Fun Fact: The camera body has four lugs for attaching a strap, one at each corner of the face of the camera. Due to the size of the camera, we have found that it hangs much better vertically than it does horizontally. Plus when the strap is attached to the top of the camera it can rub the shutter dial, unexpectedly changing your shutter speed from where you had left it set. FYI.

The Pentax 6×7 is a Japanese medium format SLR roll film camera launched by Asahi Pentax in 1969. It produces 6×7 images on 120 or 220 roll film, selected by a small knob on the right hand side of the camera and by sliding the film pressure plate inside, giving either 10 or 20 pictures. The body is in the style of an oversized regular 35mm SLR camera, by some referred to as a "Super SLR". The camera has a dual Pentax bayonet mount. Pentax also has one of the widest range of lenses available for a medium format camera, allowing for creative freedom.

The 6:7 aspect ratio is such a beautiful rectangle. There is a subtle and mathematical elegance to a rectangle that measures 6×7 and it works wonderfully for landscapes, particularly when photographing horizontally; it is not too square, nor is it too rectangular. We're psyched to have one of these at Film Scouts!!

This camera and all included has been cleaned and inspected for functionality, and is covered under our 30 day warranty. Note: The 75mm lens does contain a bit of fungus.
