Zeiss Ikon Contessa - Folding Camera

Year released: 1950s
Film: 35mm
Battery: None
Fun Fact: The Contessa was the name given to folding cameras until the 70s when the contessa name was used for standard rangefinders

Camera is in good working condition. Folding mechanism, film advance, shutter release are all working as expected. Selenium light meter does not seem to work any more so other metering methods must be used. Body is in ok shape showing some signs of use and wear, mainly around the leather which can be replaced.

The Contessa is on of the great folding cameras. It was overengineered by the Zeiss Ikon company and is really well built. It is also extremely compact while folded. Overall if you are looking for a folding camera the contessa should be in consideration.

Has been cleaned and tested for functionality.
All tested cameras come with a 30 day warranty.
